Homemade Halter
My first attempt to create a halter. It was a little too big, but practice makes perfect, I guess :-P?
All in all I am quite happy with the outcome. I have several projects started. Interesting, huh?

A little tip
Is your horse afraid for the sound of a spray bottle?
A horse's brain can't grasp several things at once. If you distract the brain the horse won't notice the "danger" it fears. So try to take your spray bottle while holding a water hose. While washing the horse's legs, begin to use your spray bottle. The horse will most likely not react and so you can praise it. And just as quietly, you can remove the distraction and then get a positive result.

A lovely picture
Passivity, control, is the essence of everything that exists... endless possibilities..
Good night dear friends....
One Happy Horse
I can just say that it only goes forward with Giga. At the moment there is just praise for that horse. She rests well in herself and she's very calm and manageable. Which is really nice. I look forward to my extended weekend. I'm free both tomorrow and Friday.
Here's a little video of my happy horse. She loves to walk free down to the field :-D
Sorry for the bad quality.

Dressage event
Yesterday I visited my brother. He lives about 40 minutes from me. I went up and saw his daughter - my niece, riding a dressage event on her pretty little pony.
She did so well, I'm so proud of her. She has come a long way. My brother is a rider, so she gets the proper education.
She thought she did poorly, but she won the class with 74%. Not bad ... I knew she would win ;-)
Another fantastic day
I have had another fantastic day. Giga is just the sweetest and calmest horse at the moment. I wonder whether the new food already works? But in any case she's really nice to be around. Today we trained a little improvement of her bad shape, she sweats rapidly and can't hold a pace for so long. We trained a lot of trot in different tempos. And we trained on the Spanish steps. She can now lift her legs when I sit on her :-)
