Eternity project

My horse exploits the bad weather. She has started to drink water from puddles, although she has fresh water out on the field, it tastes obviously better :-)

And red suits her pretty good. I'd just like to buy some little things for my horses and then suddenly this halter just fell down into my shopping cart. Ups!

Right now I'm doing something that feels like an "eternity project". I am looking for the perfect saddle for Giga, now that the one I wanted was taken from me. The saddler is trying to find something to me but no matter what I try, there is never something that is as good as the saddle I originally wanted. Sigh! I think we've tried 10 different saddles now.

Gypsy Horse Colors

My Sir Victor is Smokey Black and Lady Giga is Splash.

Look at this stallion

Look at this stallion. I am absolutely in love with him! USA and Ireland have so many beautiful stallions. They breed some beautiful types. Unfortunately, Denmark and Sweden judge completely wrong. The breed is getting smaller, they getting less hair character and their temperament becomes more fiery. That 's so wrong and it's not at all what the breed is about. Gypsies bred them in fact to be good natured and calm animals so they could associate with many people in all ages. They where going to live their lives out on the road. A temperamental horse wouldn't fit for such a life. And their massive hair should protect them from various diseases and protect them against minor injuries and wounds. So I don't get the judges in DK and Sweden.

Bye bye perfect academic saddle!

Farewell perfect Academic saddle!
I had just found "the one". And just about the same day I was going to pay for it, the owner suddenly didn't want to sell it. Like WTF? What an Idiot! Why in the world, would you put your saddle for sale at a well known saddler and then at the last minute chose to say that the saddle isn't for sale anyways? I don't get it and I must honestly say I am very disappointed. I'll never find a better saddle. Sigh...

Follow up

Follow up on the course. It was okay but a little too spiritual for my taste. It was about finding your inner mental problems by linking your mind "power" with a horse. This horse would then be able to feel your problems. We should try to breathe through the horse without getting close to it. I felt that people over analyzed what the horses did in the field. It was a little too much about: "Uh, the horse came up to me and smelled just THAT hand I have some problems with", etc. It's very difficult to be a "horse expert" and believe in the scientific aspect and then you suddenly empathize with the horse and feel you are one with it and that everything the horse does have a higher meaning. It was a little too much "Flower Power" for me, although I can see aura and believe in different things after death, but this was too much. We sat in the middle of a field and meditated. It was okay, but nothing I would go and use more time on. Respect for those who gets something out of it. And I love the two people who presented it, so no bad feelings :-)

Go in the horse's footsteps - June 2012

Tomorrow I'm going to a course / lecture with Equine Mind Movers. It's really exciting and I look forward to it. I'm getting some lovely company of my friend Laura. She has unfortunately just lost her wonderful horse. It died very suddenly from colic. So I am very glad that she still wants to go to the course with me! It's nice to have some company when the drive is quite long. An hour and fifteen minutes.
