Update - Baltazar

The night went well with Baltazar, frankly I think he enjoyed having so much grass alone and a little peace from all the other horses. Unfortunately, he destroyed my beautiful bush with flowers. But I'll survive.
It went fine at the vet. He was badly affected by lice.

He got some injections that was itching suppressant and so I had to wash him in Sebacil. It's been very effective and he's already much better now.

Baltazar is visiting

Baltazar is visiting my garden in Holte. He's going to the vet tomorrow, so my dad and I got the idea that it was easier he slept overnight in my garden, so we don't have to get up early tomorrow.
That pony is just so easy to deal with. He's just going around and enjoying the grass.

He has to go to the vet because he's itching his entire head and body hysterically.

Such a lovely day!

Today I got a lesson in Academic Art Of Riding by wonderful Maria D Cheung. It is always super educational! Giga was a little difficult at first but it all went really well. Given the fact that it's over 2 months since we got a serious lesson. So I'm very satisfied :-D
It was so hard, I have been used to having to walk backwards while I correct her,  now I've gotten so far that I have to walk beside her, ush it was difficult!

It sounds probably odd but in the beginning you go backwards. Most because it's a support and comfort for the horse when they don't know the various signals and it's easier for the rider to correct and see what's right or wrong.

Good Jumpers

Many think that this breed can't jump because of their large bodies and weight. But surprisingly many Irish Cobs are great at jumping.
