Finally weekend!

Finally it is weekend. Unfortunately it has not gone quite as expected. But it is okay. Giga can first be moved on Sunday. And my farrier should had come and fix Gigas hooves today. Unfortunately, he called it off rather late. A little annoying but it's okay. Instead I gave Giga some deworming and brushed both her and Victor.

Did you know?

Did you know that research shows that 80% of horses worldwide, has a low palate, which means there is no physical room for a bit in the mouth between the palate and tongue. Especially the combination of a low palate, small tongue and sharp leaves, which most horses have, is a combination that makes the horse mouth too sensitive to wear a bit.

An applause

I like to make an applause to my good friend Fleur. She has worked hard on the matter of being able to ride bitless at competitions. Now the Danish Equestrian Federation has taken the issue up and posted it on a famous Danish website (HesteNettet). It's really nice. I support the idea, as I think that bitless riders should be able to ride fair and square in competitions with those who choose to ride with at bit in their horses mouth.

Here's a link: http://www.heste-nettet.dk/nyheder/8454/
Unfortunately it is in Danish. But you can use google translate.

Have you ever?

Have you ever just let go of your inhibitions and let your hair loose? Just forgotten all the rules and norms?

Equestrianing has many rules. Sometimes it's healthy to throw it all behind you just for one day and take a wild canter across the field with your horse.

Feel the power, feel the harmony between you and your friend, notice how you fly together.

Don't forget that riding should'nt always be so serious! ;-)

In the meantime

Now there's only four days to Giga moves to Denmark. Wiii!
In the meantime I'll wait here in Denmark. I'm still really sick. I'm seeing a new doctor next week and I'll get examined - again. So I'm just wandering around in my apartment and decorating - I'm bored when i'm sick. So here are a few pictures of my home. It is easy to see that I am happy for horses!

You can always ask questions

You can always ask me questions if there is anything regarding horse training you want to know or if you seek some advice. You can ask your question in English, Danish, Swedish, Finnish and Norwegian. I can pretty much all the Nordic countries languages. I'm half Danish and half Finnish and my parents has had a farm in Sweden for nearly 6 years now. So I'm pretty much covered in by all the Nordic languages.

Counting down

I'm counting down now! There are only five days to Giga is going to be moved to Denmark. I am looking so forward to it!I look forward to I finally can get started and train her seriously. I've never had the chance, as she always has been in Sweden. So I've always done everything with "half a heart". But now all this is changing. Now we are going to achieve great things! It will be so enjoyable that I only have 15 minutes up to my horse!
