When animals surprises :-)

What I love most about animals is how they can surprise you. For example, in this picture. A small donkey shows its great jumping ability. I doubt anyone expected this jump.

Giga also surprised me today. When I called her name, I got a loving response. She came gladly down to me. But I had her food in m hand, so she was probably a little more happier to see me than usual :-b
I didn't have the time to train her today. She got some food and love, that's it. Tomorrow she's going to be trained.

AMAZING DAY!!!

What a fantastic day! Today we came out on our riding trip. It started to rain just before we were going to sit up on our horses and we just thought "Oh Hell No"! But in about 5 minutes did the rain turn into snow and the rest of our 1 hour long ride it snowed the whole time. It was so beautiful. Giga was a little nervous at first. But everyone was so sweet and said it was perfectly normal when everything is so new. It was really nice that we were like 6 people that rode out together. The most ironic was that I was the only who rode with a bit. Typical. But that is going to change soon. Such a good day. I have only good words to spare for all the girls at the Flower Farm!

Horrible weather!

What a terrible weather. It was like half snow / rain storm. Unfortunately we couldn't ride. The weather was simply too terrible. But I trained some groundwork with Giga. But again today, she was quite impossible. I do not quite understand why she is so hysterical and nervous all the time!?

But tomorrow if the weather is nice, we're going to ride at 12 o'clock. I hope the weather is good!

Sir Victor

I'm sorry!

Sorry I have not written on my blog in a few days. But when I came to Sweden were both the internet and the mobilenetwork broken down. But I can write about the last few days now that i'm back in DK. Thursday, I did absolutely nothing with Giga, nothing more than to feed her and show my dad the Flower Farm.

The next day I rode Victor in the woods again wearing only a cordeo. It went really well. He seemed a little sad. I know i'm humanizing him now, but it was as if he missed Giga and tried saying it with his sad eyes. But he was probably just in his quiet mood, who knows. But we rode around a bit in the woods and took it easy.

Today i'm going to ride along with a lot of  girls from the Flower Farm. They will show me around in their woods. Unfortunately, I remembered that I have no saddle for Giga. So I have to ride her without a saddle, I'm a little nervous, since it is a long time since I have done it on Giga. You never know how her mood is at the moment.

What a day :/

When there's up's there's also down's. And I have had a really "bad" day.
Giga was really stressed out today. Our training went not good at all. First she pushed me up against the stable walls like 20 times. Up to several times I got pushed all the air out of me. She didn’t care about my commands and she had apparently forgotten all about a proper way to behave. It was really uncomfortable and frustrating.

Then she went completely crazy. She had no stop button when I came up on her back. She just rushed forward. I trained SOOO much her stop signal in walk (about one hour) and I got a positive progress out of it. However, she was completely impossible in trot and canter. It made me really sad to see her like that. We have taken like 1.00000 steps back. So I have much to work with, in the next several day’s maybe months, who knows.

Giga's new friend Maddi. She's also an Irish Cob. It's a bit funny that the only two Irish Cobs in the whole herd found together and are now really good friends.

Today I asked Giga

...Whether she liked her new home. This was Giga's response:

I'll take that as a YES :-)!

With that said. I have had a really busy day. Stress! So I did not have much time for Giga today. But I let her run a little freely around out on the paddock. She was pretty fresh; she took a few rounds in gallop. She reared and bucked like a wild horse. Unfortunately I did not get some pictures of it becouse she stopped every time I lifted my camera up. Crazy Horse! So it was all the training she received today. A little fun in the paddock and that’s it. She got her food and was thrown out in field again. Poor horse. But tomorrow I have all day to her. That I look forward to!
