My dizziness continues!

My dizziness continued, so I only fed Giga today. However, she was pretty happy to see me. She came trotting from the back end of the field down to me. The other horses came also, I'm sure that they hoped to get some sweets.

It's annoying that I feel very dizzy and tired all the time. I want to ride again!

Horse quote

"Do what you love. It's going to lead to where you want to go." - Wayne White

Where do you want to go? Start the journey with loving every minute of right here, right now!

Horses are intensely curious

Horses are intensely curious if they can get past their fear or uncertainty.

But some horses are not allowed to be curious, because it scares the owner or because the horse has 'to behave'.

But curiosity is a gift, to our horse AND to ourselves:

- It opens the possibility of learning something new.

- It can bring excitement and adventure into our lives.

- It keeps the mind active rather than passive.

Never knock the curiousity out of your horse and never hold yourself back from curiousity.

Study time!

Today I feel a little unwell and dizzy. So it will be no riding for me today. Instead I spend my time studying horse stuff. I found some books. The first one I've read once before but I want to read it again and Andrew McLean's book, I borrowed from a friend. I'm the type who learns best if I get to draw and play. So I have made a couple of drawings and written some long notes. Just because you're sick it doesn't mean that you can't learn anything.

I got a message from an friend who's from Jutland today. She's coming to Copenhagen next week and she wanted to meet me and Giga. And of course she can come by and say hello. People are always welcome in my home! :-)

A drawing I just made!

I got inspiration from the German edition. I've just included another text.

Facts about bitless riding.

Bitless riding is not so different from normal riding with a bit. It's basically the same thing; the pressure we give the horse through the reins are simply moved from the mouth to the nose.

There are many different bitless bridles you can choose from. For example:

Sidepull
Cavesson
Dually Halter
Robert cooks bitless bridle
Hackamore

Feeding time

Today I came very late out to Giga. I hadn't time or the desire to ride her. So she just got her food and a little cuddle attention. I found a really good spot on her, Oh lord, how she enjoyed it!
It's now so cold that the horses water system on their field is frozen. It sucks so bad!
