Funny how people can whine

Today I arranged to ride with Laura and Karla. I was unfortunately a little late because of traffic.
We never got to the forest and funny enough it wasn't my fault. It was Mysla's fault ( Karla's pony). Mysla was in her teasing mood. She wouldn't walk, again. So Giga had to walk into her all the time and push her, while I pushed her on the ass. We agreed to ride back and on the way home we met a sour woman who walked with her dog. She asked if we couldn't have a bag with us and pick up after our horses. My responded was: It's a little difficult to ride with a giant garbage bag + horse poop is very good fertilizer for flowers. It didn't seem like she had anticipated my answer. She was about to become quite angry when Mysla accidentally almost ran into her. Good timing pony! :-D
So we got a good laugh on the way home! Funny how people can whine over small things.

Bitter sweet feeling!

I know that I shouldn't be bitter. But just at this moment I am! I'm honestly really sorry that people imitate everything about my blog and my horses. I've just seen that Latin blog names are incredibly popular, which is okay, but so many are similar to my blog name and it annoys me. In addition, a person I know who's constantly one step ahead of me, no matter what I do assume she's always milking all the attention to herself. And it's not because I'm a media whore and wants attention. I just want people to be sincere to themselves and others. I want credit for what I do, I don't want to sit and watch people who clearly imitates me and furthermore gets all the attention for it. Well, with that said, sorry for my sour post. But I hope you can understand my frustrations. This blog and my pictures have slowly become my small life's work, so it hits me a little when people can not find their own inspiration!

I have set some goals. Since a few people is trying to "out do me." I have set a goal that Giga must learn how to bow and rear. Later she's going to learn 100% Spanish steps.

Horses don't know how to count?

If you believe horses don't know how to count,
put three carrots in your pocket and give him only two!

Heavy horse

For those who do not believe that a heavy horse can do fine in high level dressage. So far as I know is this a Belgian mare who is currently competing in Lb events and she states with the normal warmblooded horses.

Academic / Spanish saddle!

I want a Spanish saddle now! I wish I had the money for it, because NOW I have my beautiful pad and bridle. I wish I was rich! I would use all my money on equipment for my horses.

Check just some of these saddles out. I'm drooling and dreaming about them!

I want this one in black!

What a day :-)!

I can only say: Wow, I'm just so proud of my Lady Giga. I have a very sweet and talented horse. I was a little anxious about Helena was going to ride her today but Giga showed me that I don't have to worry. She was just so nice to Helena, although Helena has not ridden in 6 years or so. Giga looked after her really well, both in trot and canter.

There were many out on the farm today and don't ask me why but everyone just wanted to talk to me and Giga. She who has stabled the Shire horse out at the farm, was ecstatic with Giga. And she knew me apparently from facebook, the world is small sometimes. And a woman who was visiting was also ecstatic with Giga, she said several times that she was completely in love with Giga. After Helena had ridden her, she came and asked if she could to try Giga. And since it went well with Helena I thought it probably would go well with her. Which it did. So Giga was thoroughly ridden today. She was also very tired and sweated a lot. There were also many who just sat and watched as I rode Giga. I am not accustomed to so much praise, I am always very shy.

My friend Helena

Today my friend Helena is going to ride Giga. It'll be interesting to see. Normally I don't let no one ride her except people who are very experienced. But Helena misses very much to ride. And I'm standing right beside them and I'm watching if every thing goes well. They'll probably do fine :-)
