Pictures of my new saddle

Here are some pictures of my new saddle. Or I'm going to pay for it tomorrow.

Today I went for a small walk with Giga. I was at my chiropractor today so my back and lower back was pretty sore! Tomorrow I'm going out for a ride in my new paid saddle. Anina is going to join me,- maybe!

Good News!

I have some really good news. Victor is moving to Denmark soon! He is moving once in August. I feel a little weird that he no longer shall be in Sweden at my parents' farm. I must admit I will miss the Swedish nature and wildlife! And now I've had my horse there for 5 years. So it's a bit strange and sad in a way? But the best thing for Victor is that he's coming to DK and get's trained etc. Everything else is a shame. So now the decision is made and everybody at the Flower Farm can't wait to meet him!

I also think that Giga is going to be happy to see him again. I'm looking forward to see their reakion!

I'm so sorry for my inactivity

Hello Blog Readers.

I'm so sorry for my inactivity. But I just moved to a new apartment and the internet hadn't worked all week. There has happened a bit since I last wrote on my blog. Giga's "rider" (Milla), jumped a little on her. They came up on 65 cm. Not bad (pictures are shown below).
Additionally I had a saddler out to Giga and I've found the perfect academic saddle. It sits perfectly on Giga and I sit like a king in it! Pictures may come tomorrow!

In addition, I rode a long trip in the woods on Giga in my future saddle. I've never felt her gait so much. She is free and light, It doesn't feel like if shes carrying me. We got lost in the woods, so we ended up riding in 2.5 hours. Poor Giga. But it's long time since we both have enjoyed a ride so much as we did yesterday. It was hot but it rained a little. It was great with a little rain in the warm weather.

I will try to keep my blog updated. Hugs Sara Maria

Riding lesson

Today I got a riding lesson on Giga. I got the lesson from a girl called Nanna. She has been in Australia and worked for Andrew McLean for four months. She is really talented and I got extremely much out of her lesson. I can only say I envy her experience! If only I had the chance for such an experience :-)

I hope one day I'm lucky and get the chance. But right now I have to "settle" with talented Nanna. I enjoyed it and I finally feel I have something I can work with. I no longer feel that I am stuck in on the same track.

Yesterday

Yesterday I didn't get as much out of my day as I had desired, unfortunately. I felt a little bad that I hadn't trained some of my boys. But it rained all day. So the urge wasn't quite there. However, I washed Victors legs and brushed him from head to hoof. He enjoyed it very much. And I spent much time outdoors in the paddock and cuddle all three horses :-)

Pictures from today

Here are some pictures from today...

Victor got his vaccination

Today Victor got his vaccination. He was not happy about it! He hates the vet as I said. But we took a towel around his head and then it was just about holding on. He got the needle in the neck and then he jumped up in the air and ran a half-round in his box. But now it's all over and I must honestly say that my vet is one cool woman! What shall I do without her in DK?

Victor got a day off, unfortunately I can't ride him after a vaccination. But I took some pictures with him and cuddled with him. I miss him a lot and it makes me really sad when I see he has missed me as well!

Later I trained Baltazar. He had soooo much energy. He got a flip and galloped around me in 15 minutes. When he finished he came back to me very happy. Crazy pony!

Aw, I'm sorry I can't afford a small farm. The whole situation here makes me really sad :-(
