Elimination of mud fever!

When I came out on the farm I started to wash Victor's hair on his legs. Sadly, his mud fever is much worse than what I had expected. So I probably have to cut his hair. But my new product seems to be really good.

Unfortunately I can't do much right now because he doesn't come in at night. I can only try to keep it down and then I have to seriously do something about it when we move to the new farm.

Here's some pictures step by step how it looked.

1) This is how it looked this morning

2) First I washed the worst mud of his legs

3) Then it was time for the shampoo. I applied only a small amount as it foams a lot.

4) I scrub it well into his hair.

Mom, I don't want to stand still anymore!

5) Then I wash thoroughly all four legs

6) And finally I dry his hair as best I can.

This is how Victors mud fever looks like :-/

I just couldnt wait

It's a long time since I've been looking so much forward to seeing my horses. I woke up at 08 this morning because I just couldnt wait to see them. So I'm already driving out to the farm at 10 o'clock. I think I found the spark again now that my knee is much better. The last two months have not been fun and I've taken a little distance from the horses. I felt like I couldn't do anything with them. Just simple things like getting them from the field was a struggle for me. So it's just amazing my knee can finally keep up.

And today you'll get an update on how my product to Victor's legs works!

Everybody needs beauty

Everybody needs beauty as well as bread, places to play in and pray in, where nature may heal and give strength to body and soul.

When tragic things like this happens

When tragic things like this happens, you realize just how much you love your own horses. It opens one's eyes! I don't know what I would do with myself if I suddenly would lose one of my in such a horrible way!

Tomorrow I'm going out to my beautiful horses and I'm gonna' spend a lot of time with them! I miss them already. Unfortunately, I have spent my whole Saturday at work. So I am taking revenge tomorrow.
I'm also going to Horse Life again. I want to see a show. The place I'm moving my horses are going to show how to ride academic. I really look forward to see them!

R.I.P. Frederik!

Today, the sky became a star richer ♥ R.I.P.
Hope you are doing well on the other side, and no longer struggling with pain.

My good friend just lost her beautiful Irish Cob today. She had him only 1.5 months. Today, he died of colic, probably due to stress. She only managed to ride him one time. He was a pretty and big gelding only 6 years old. It is still so surreal to me, I can't understand it. It was too early and all my thoughts are with my friend.
